You will then be asked some questions about how your current experience of Our Democracy impacts on your life. Your anonymised answers will be used in analysing people’s approaches to creating a model for Real Democracy, and in shaping future discussions.
How can we ensure that the strategies which emerge are taken forward by government?
It is a fundamental principle of democracy that power derives from the people. Real Democracy is about citizens giving politicians a brief for what they want them to do. It stands to reason that this should become the bedrock for policy formation. But how can we ensure that is what actually happens.
