If you have not done so already, you will need to register to respond to a question, or someone else’s response. Your anonymised answers will be used in analysing people’s approaches to creating a model for Real Democracy, and in shaping future discussions.

How can people become motivated to participate?

Many will agree with the proposition that they would like to make their own lives better by making the lives of others better. But they are used to feeling powerless; to feeling there is nothing much they can do; that the only option available for them is to protest and complain. Real Democracy will give everyone the chance to participate in a process that involves millions of others. How can they be convinced that it is worthwhile allocating some of their time to participating in it?
